Introduction
Chauffeur Service London, trading as JAMOAT GROUP LTD, provides professional chauffeur-driven luxury vehicle hire services throughout London, the United Kingdom, and internationally.
JAMOAT GROUP LTD is the legal trading group under which M25 Chauffeurs Ltd and Chauffeur Service London now operate as one unified group. All services are delivered to the same high standards of professionalism, discretion, safety, and customer care.
We are committed to total customer satisfaction. Our experienced chauffeurs will always act in your best interests and will never knowingly expose you to risk, inconvenience, or breach of privacy. These Terms & Conditions exist to protect both parties and must be read and accepted before making a booking.
1. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions, unless the context requires otherwise:
- “Agreement” means these Terms & Conditions together with any Booking accepted by us in writing.
- “Booking” means any reservation or quotation accepted by us for chauffeur services.
- “Cancellation” means any cancellation made after we have accepted a Booking.
- “Hire Period” means the agreed duration of service as stated in the Booking or as reasonably extended.
- “Pick-up Address” means the location where the service commences.
- “Pick-up Time” means the date and time specified for service commencement.
- “Passenger” means any person travelling in the Vehicle with our consent.
- “Price” means the total charge for the Services as stated in the Booking.
- “Services” means chauffeur-driven vehicle hire services provided by us.
- “Unacceptable Behaviour” includes but is not limited to illegal, unsafe, abusive, aggressive, intoxicated, or disorderly conduct, smoking or vaping in the vehicle, or exceeding passenger limits.
- “Vehicle” means the vehicle assigned to your Booking or an agreed substitute.
- “We / Us / Our” refers to JAMOAT GROUP LTD, trading as Chauffeur Service London, incorporating M25 Chauffeurs Ltd as part of the same legal group.
Operator Licensing:
Our private hire operator licence(s) are held and operated under JAMOAT GROUP LTD and M25 Chauffeurs Ltd, registered with Transport for London (TfL). All vehicles and chauffeurs are fully licensed and compliant with UK regulations.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
2.1 A Booking constitutes an offer by you to purchase Services subject to this Agreement.
2.2 These Terms apply exclusively unless varied in writing by authorised representatives of JAMOAT GROUP LTD.
2.3 All Bookings must be confirmed in writing via our booking form or official email correspondence.
2.4 Bookings must be accepted by us in writing to be valid.
2.5 Bookings should be made at least 24 hours prior to Pick-up Time.
2.6 Amendments requested after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
2.7 Cancellation Policy:
- Administration fee: £100
- Cancellations within 7 days of Pick-up Time: 50% of the booking value
- Cancellations within 24 hours, wedding bookings, or No-Shows: 100% charge applies
- No-Shows include failure to arrive at the agreed time, location, or flight arrival
Mileage Allowance:
- Full-day hire: 100 miles / 10 hours
- Weddings: 10 miles per hour booked
- Excess mileage charged according to vehicle type
3. Performance of Services
3.1 Services are provided to the highest professional standard.
3.2 Chauffeurs are formally dressed at all times.
3.3 Chauffeurs will not exceed legal speed limits under any circumstances.
3.4 Routes are chosen at the chauffeur’s discretion unless otherwise agreed.
3.5 Vehicles may only be driven by authorised chauffeurs.
3.6 We aim to commence services on time; however, delays of up to 60 minutes may occur. If services cannot commence within 60 minutes for reasons within our control, you may cancel for a full refund of advance payments only.
3.7 We are not liable for delays after departure caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Luggage
4.1 Reasonable luggage will be accepted. Excess luggage may be refused for safety reasons.
4.2 All luggage and personal property remain the responsibility of the Passenger. We accept no liability for loss or damage.
5. Passenger Behaviour
5.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all Passengers.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a journey due to Unacceptable Behaviour, with no refund due.
5.3 You are liable for any damage caused to the Vehicle.
5.4 Cleaning or soiling charges apply where necessary. Standard fee: £100, with additional charges for severe damage or downtime.
6. Pricing
6.1 Prices are confirmed in the Booking.
6.2 Delays or extensions may incur additional charges at standard hourly rates.
6.3 Prices exclude VAT (if applicable), tolls, parking, accommodation, or subsistence unless otherwise stated.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Payment is required in advance unless a written account facility is agreed.
- Credit card payments: 3.5% surcharge
- Debit card payments: No surcharge
7.2 Invoiced accounts must be settled within 14 days.
7.3 Late payments may incur interest at 3% above base rate.
7.4 Payments may appear on statements as JAMOAT GROUP LTD or M25 Chauffeurs Ltd.
8. Liability
8.1 Services are performed with reasonable care and skill.
8.2 Liability for death or personal injury due to negligence is not limited.
All other liability is limited to the value of the Booking.
8.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8.4 You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Services.
9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
10. Confidentiality
All confidential information shall be treated with strict confidentiality by both parties.
11. Termination & Governing Law
11.1 Either party may terminate for material breach, insolvency, or legal incapacity.
11.2 Outstanding payments remain due upon termination.
11.3 This Agreement is governed by English Law and subject to English Courts.
